We have just put out word that we will not be making a new Format album. Please understand this was a tough decision and we're both upset about it. While we accept there will be false speculation as to why, understand that Sam and I remain extremely close and in fact are still passing the twin peaks box set back and forth in an attempt to figure out who REALLY killed laura palmer.

We also want to thank everyone with and within the Format, particularly Mike, Don, and Marko, whom without, none of this would have ever even been fully realized. We both suggest you support their musical talents and whatever they decide to do. And lastly we want to thank the
fans who made this the best 5 years of our lives.

but atleast there's tons of great memories.
from seeing you guys play in the tiny little room that is "the end" in nashville to seeing you headline across the nation.

Funny story, just last week I told the co-owner of my new promotion company that my one big goal out of all of this was to book The Format.

It's sad that I won't get that chance now. *sigh*

Thank you so much for all of the beautiful music you've brought into my life the past couple of years.

I agree with everything everybody else said. I feel kind of weird saying how distraught this makes me, but music is my life and you guys were a huge part of that. Thank you for everything you've done and good luck with everything in the future (although you don't really need it because, hi, you're amazing).

... I'm just gonna go be bummed out for a little bit, haha. :/
